Chris Menser leads the vision, architecture, and execution of software development and integration at Tricon Residential, overseeing a team of engineers focused on delivering scalable technology solutions that support business operations and enhance the resident experience.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership. Prior to joining Tricon, Chris led the application development department at the consultancy responsible for building Tricon’s rental management system. He has held senior technical and executive roles—including engineer, CTO, and founder—at both startups and Fortune 500 companies, launching software used by hundreds of thousands of users globally. Earlier in his career, Chris founded and operated his own software company, developed mobile and advertising platforms delivering millions of daily impressions, and managed engineering practices of 40+ team members.
Chris began developing software at the age of eight and sold his first application shortly thereafter. His early start in technology has shaped a lifelong passion for innovation, mentorship, and strategic problem solving. He continues to apply this mindset to advance Tricon’s digital capabilities and strengthen the role of technology in driving business performance.
