60+ Days Before Move-Out
Key First Steps
Start with these tasks to stay on track
Step 1: Confirm your move-out date
Review the date in your Notice to Vacate (NTV) form. If you still need to submit your notice, please contact us at 844-874-2661 and we’ll guide you through the process.
Please note that, once you have signed your NTV, the form becomes final and you may not be able to revise or cancel it.
Step 2: Provide your forwarding address
Submit your new forwarding address here. This ensures we can send your final statement and any applicable refund promptly.
Step 3: Keep utilities active
Please keep power, water, and gas on until your move-out date.
Step 4: Review the Move-Out Checklist
Download and review the Move-Out Checklist for the full list of items to complete before move-out.

Clear everything out
Remove personal belongings and trash from the home, garage, yard, patio, and storage areas.
Clean thoroughly
Wipe down appliances, sinks, bathrooms, cabinets, floors, windows, baseboards, and light switches.
Schedule carpet cleaning
All carpets must be professionally cleaned prior to your move-out inspection. Please keep the receipt for your move-out inspection.
Wall repair
Filling nail holes, washing walls, and repainting dirty or scuffed walls (only repaint the whole wall – please do not touch-up spots) can be done yourself. For larger repairs, our maintenance team will complete them to ensure they’re done correctly.
Outdoor care (if applicable)
Please make sure to mow, trim, weed, sweep patios, and clean up pet areas.
Replacements and final cleaning
Replace filters, bulbs, blinds, or screens if needed. Sweep out the garage and storage areas.
