Bill Richard is responsible for leading the acquisitions and asset management of Tricon Residential’s rental housing portfolio. In this role, he is responsible for leading both the growth in acquisitions for Tricon’s U.S. rental portfolio and the optimization of Tricon’s U.S. and Canada portfolios via establishing a portfolio asset management discipline including analytics, business planning, revenue management, ancillary revenue and services, property insurance and other similar items. He also plays a key role in property financing activities and other large strategic initiatives.
He brings significant experience in investments, finance and asset and risk management to the team. Before joining Tricon in 2016, Bill was a founding executive and Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Operations of another single-family rental operator, True Investments. Previously, he led successful teams at Arch Bay Capital, Morgan Stanley and the American Stock Exchange.
Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from San Diego State University.
