Gina McMullan oversees all aspects of Tricon Residential’s corporate accounting, public company financial reporting, private funds and advisory reporting, and accounting policy functions. She is also responsible for the property accounting operations of Tricon’s single-family and multi-family rental portfolios, as well as leading technical research and applying a sound accounting approach to all complex strategic transactions.
Prior to joining Tricon in 2016, Gina was a senior member of the PwC LLP assurance practice, where she spent more than ten years servicing a variety of companies in the real estate, retail, media and technology sectors. She has an in-depth understanding of IFRS and U.S. GAAP, as well as extensive experience in mergers and acquisition accounting. Previously, she studied hotel management, and worked at three of the world’s premier properties – The Plaza Hotel in New York, The Shilla in Seoul and The Prince Hotel in Tokyo – where she acquired a solid understanding of customer service excellence, which she draws upon in her current role.
Gina has a CPA, CA designation, attended Rutgers Business School, and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Ryerson University.
