John English oversees development of all Tricon Residential Canadian multi-family projects. In this role, he is responsible for all development stages and leads cross-functional teams through the project underwriting, municipal approvals, design, budgeting and construction processes.
Prior to joining Tricon in 2015, John worked at Oxford Properties in its development group, most recently as Director of Development. He managed development projects across Canada for a variety of asset classes, including office, industrial, multi-family and retail. Prior to that, John was a consultant at Halsall Associates in its Building Redevelopment and Sustainability practice.
John has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School. He is also a LEED-accredited Professional and a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
