Marc Simonik is responsible for providing legal support on all aspects of Tricon Residential’s investments, operations, corporate structuring and finance, compliance and corporate governance. Marc also serves as the Privacy Officer for Tricon.
Prior to joining Tricon, Marc served as Counsel, Investments & Asset Management at Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, overseeing all legal aspects of its real estate and mortgage portfolios. Before working at Sun Life, Marc practiced law at Stikeman Elliott LLP, advising on all areas of commercial real estate, financings, mergers and acquisitions, loan securitization, commercial leasing and corporate transactional matters.
Marc holds a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminology from Western University.
