Nicole Chai supports the Chief Compliance Officer with the overall leadership, vision and strategy of the Compliance function. She is responsible for the design, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of Tricon Residential’s compliance program. She also serves as the AML Compliance Officer for Tricon.
Nicole brings over 15 years of experience in enterprise compliance oversight, including the areas of monitoring, surveillance and advisory support. She actively promotes a culture of compliance, fiduciary responsibility and understanding of the Company’s risk appetite. Prior to joining Tricon in 2019, Nicole worked in the securities industry for various-sized firms.
Nicole has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London and Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School. She has obtained a CIPP/C certification and CIA designation. Nicole has also completed Cornell University’s Executive Leadership Program.
