Easily Transfer Your Lease

Moving within a portfolio can be an exciting opportunity to upgrade your living space or experience a new neighborhood. However, there are certain requirements and steps that need to be followed to make a smooth transition.

First, it is important to note that to be eligible to move within a Tricon portfolio, you must be a current Tricon Resident for at least 6 months. This requirement ensures that you have a history of being a responsible tenant and have fulfilled your rental obligations in a satisfactory manner.

Once you have met the 6-month residency requirement, the next step is to submit a 30-day notice to vacate/transfer. This notice should be submitted to the Tricon management team, indicating your intention to move within the portfolio. This notice provides Tricon with sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements for your move and to find a new tenant for your current home.

After submitting the notice, Tricon will arrange for an inspection of your current home. This inspection is conducted to assess the condition of the property and ensure that it meets the required standards. Tricon may have certain criteria in place regarding the condition of the property, such as cleanliness, repairs, and any damages that need to be addressed. It is important to ensure that your current home is in good condition and meets these criteria to proceed with the move within the portfolio.

Once the inspection is completed and your current home is approved by Tricon, you will be able to proceed with the process of moving to your new home within the portfolio. Tricon will provide you with the necessary information and assistance to make this transition as smooth as possible. They may also provide you with options and availability for different properties within the portfolio, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your needs and preferences.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure a seamless and hassle-free move within the Tricon portfolio.
